A Basic Guide For the Beginners ....

Lets face the reality ... when it comes  down to actually sitting and deciding what to buy and what not to ... it gets real confusing  ... aahhhh... umm ...yes that too ... its must have ...oh how will it be without that lipstick or liner ... which liner shall i PICK ???? well is that lipstick shade right  for everyday use ? will that mascara or liner smudge???? So many question marks isn't it ?

And when you are a BEGINNER ...its a huge problem .... I know right !

I am here to help and guide you all the way ....

First thing first ... when you are a beginner and want to do everyday makeup; and look little more presentable than the way you did earlier....... for that you basically need these basic things:

1. A Mascara

2. An Eyeliner

3. A Lip Balm/ Lipstick (in my case both and i'll tell you why as we go along this post )

4. A Kohl (this is optional)

A Mascara:

There are many brands out there that you can pick from; high ends,drugstore brands and so on and on. First identify whats your preference ... Do you want VOLUME? OR IS IT LENGTH ?

Well if i talk about myself i dont have too short lashes. I have decent length of lashes which i can carry well with a mascara which gives volume... But when i want dramatic look i tend to use both lengthening and volumising mascaras. 

As far as daily use is concerned i guess one can do fine with a volumising mascara. But again its your own choice what exactly do you prefer! 

Mascaras also come in different colours as in BLACK,BROWN, BLACK/BROWN AND SOME FUNKY COLOURS too. Usually for a beginner you can go with a black one or black/brown one as that you can carry with any look, either at day time or night out.

I have used a tons of different mascaras.... these days i am using "LOREAL VOLUME MILLION LASHES IN EXTRA-BLACK"- its not waterproof but its smudge proof though. Its pretty good for daily use.

An Eyeliner/ Kohl (optional):

Usually its fine to have two colours in the beginning as you are trying out things... So BLACK AND BROWN will do justice with your look. But if you want something other than that i'll suggest trying a champagne colour; its just it compliments every look and colour and you can carry it way easily than others... and i think it adds soft touch to your look too. 

As far as Kohl's are concerned well usually we ASIANS like putting them alot !
Its a signature look for us. 

So again you can buy a cheap kohl or an high end brand's kohl totally on you.... If you have smaller eyes so you can try a WHITE EYE PENCIL in your waterline ... It makes your eyes look bigger than usual ... But i am totally not saying this that black isnt for small eyes people... You can do as you please.

A Lipstick/ Lip Balm:

Umm this was a hard one for me to guide you guys on =) Well if you ask me ... i think you need few shades and you are good to go... 

Nudes are great !!! really ... well picking up the right nude is the trick girls !! if you dont it can totally wash your face out. OOPPPSSSSS 

POP OF COLOUR <3 ... well it can vary from corals, pinks, berry, reds, mauve, purples, browns and the list continues .... i'll suggest going for pinks, berries, browns or corals at start ... well at the beginning you seriously have no idea which red will suit you better... But if you really want to go for bold lips then heres the way.... Go to the store try it out ...
Please never try out on your lips in the store as its not hygienic ! ...
 So swatch it if it really looks good on your arm or wrist then get it ... get someone's advice too but seriously not the stall girl's as they tend to exaggerate alot.... ask a friend or your mum ....or anyone you are with..... 

Well for a balm... any would do ... but these days MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS are in so get them they are really cheap to buy. 

Fun Tip and Trick GIRLS ;) ...... always apply lip balm on your lips before you put on your lipstick ... trust me it will glide on lips lot better and will not dry them out and most importantly wont turn your lips dark too ... as believe it or not all these things can have a tiny bit effect on lips too so why to take a chance
