REVIEW & SWATCHES- SLEEK i- Divine "Vintage ROMANCE PALETTE"

If you are regular reader of my blog and follower on my facebook page so you will be familiar with my obsession with the makeup brand "SLEEK". I can't help it when it comes to sleek, i seriously love this brand and its so affordable and have quality products that one can never go wrong with it. It's a drugstore brand but quality and results are not less than any high end brand. Sleek sleek sleek... enough of the non stop talking lets get down to business *hehheehhe*
So today i have a very pretty palette for the review, and its called "i-Divine Vintage Romance". So let's see how impressed i am!

If you have read my recent haul post so you'll know that i purchased this palette from an amazing page called BeautifiedPK here on facebook. If you don't know about this page so just go and see the amazing prices and brands they have, i guarantee you will love it!! Sleek Makeup currently have around 12 i-Divine eyeshadow palettes. They also come up with their limited editions every few months. One is around the corner most probably launching on 25th March 2015 as per the news on internet. They usually come out with amazing limited editions so do keep an eye on them. They only relaunched their " i-Divine Showstopper Palette" on their 50th anniversary.

Anyway now i'll directly start with the details as i have said lot about my special love for this brand in my haul post HERE; if you haven't checked it out please feel free to have a look. It has the page review too so you can have a better idea.

1- BRAND- SLEEK MAKEUP

2- PACKAGING- It comes in a black card paper case with the splash of the shades on it which are inside. I love its packaging as its quiet colourful and unique. The permanent collection have the same cases with different colours on it but the limited editions have different packaging to it. Its not heavy or hard to carry while travelling. The actual palette comes in a sturdy plastic case, but one needs to be little careful with it as in not dropping it from height as it might break. I personally had no issues so just giving you precautions.

3- PRICE- $11.99. 

4- PRODUCT- 12X1.1g per eyeshadow. Palette contains 12 eyeshadows.

5- COLOURS- 12 colours in one palette. i-Divine "Vintage Romance" is a beautiful combination of golds and purples. If you are a gold shade lover you will definitely like this one. It comes with a plastic clear sheet which has names on it, which i love. Totally cute! There are many metallic and shimmery shades in this palette, but with only one matte shade. Names are based on the name of the palette that is "Vintage ROMANCE":

Pretty in Paris- Its a silver shadow with sparkles in it.

Meet in Madrid- Beautiful metallic light gold.

Court in Cannes- Metallic light copperish colour.

Lust in LA- Lighter brown with sparkles in it.

Romance in Rome- Dark purple with strong blue undertones to it, which makes it look bluish purple in light.

Propose in Prague- The only matte shade in this palette. Its a good transition colour. Its a light brown with peach undertone.

A Vow in Venice- More towards mauve with hint of pink in it.

Marry in Monte Carlo- Nice loud magenta pink colour.

Honeymoon in Hollywood- Beautiful cranberry shade.

Bliss in Barcelona-Metallic purple more towards a dark violet side.

Forever in Florence- A deep blackberry shade.

Love in London- Black with silver sparkles in it.

5- PIGMENTATION- Pictures can tell you better, but i tell you no drugstore brand can actually beat sleek when it comes to its pigmentation/colour payoff. Its highly pigmented. Not at all chalky or powdery.

6- APPLICATION- Blending is never a pain when it comes to sleek. They won't let you down. Fallout is something i never experienced with this palette.

7- TEXTURE- Metallic shades have a very soft and buttery feel to it. While the shimmering ones are not too buttery. Where as the matte has a typical powdery feel to it but not at all powdery or chalky as mentioned earlier.

8- DURATION- I have used these without a primer and with a primer both; without a primer underneath even they never creased on me. Primer makes the colour pop up more beautifully which i love. On contrary never faced any issues with creasing. Duration is good like 6-8 hours without creasing, i have never applied for more than this time frame so can't guide on that. 

Final Thoughts.... 

Overall, Sleek palettes are amazing for anyone who is a beginner to someone who is a professional. They are very handy and easy to travel with. One can create many versatile looks from this palette. This is more of an evening to late night-outs palette. Sleek has never disappointed me so i will highly recommend you people to give it a try if you haven't.
