REVIEW & SWATCHES- LIP GEEKS LIPSTICKS!!!

Hello my Lovelies!!!

We all look for lipsticks which are not just affordable but trendy and provide us with quality results at the same time right ?? Well i guess all makeup lovers know what exactly i am talking about. If i have to tell my preference then i'll definitely say that for me high end or drugstore all are same if they provide best results. I found these lipsticks on "MAKEUP REVOLUTION"; and i'll like to share my point of view so read to find out what i have to say about them .....


Well Makeup Revolution has a sub brand which is called " I Heart Makeup". This line is trendy and stylish when it comes to its packaging. Honestly speaking i got these for the packaging on the first place * sucker for the packaging i know*. I didn't expect much from these as come on they are so cheaply priced who'll expect much out of them? Anyway lets break the suspense and jump right into the details:

PACKAGING

They are shaped like the MAC lipsticks but are a little taller in size; i think they are more like Gerard Cosmetics Lipsticks. In fact i think more inspired by Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks. They give a feel of fancy but bigger bullets. I like its unique hot purplish pink casing, i personally think it adds a nice touch to it.

SCENT

It does not have as such noticeable scent; in fact no scent as such in my opinion.

DURATION

It lasts on lips for 3-4 hours without eating or drinking. It does stain lips. It usually fades from the center of the lips than from the sides.

APPLICATION

It has a satin finish to it. Its very soft and moisturising on lips just like light lip balms. It does not dry lips at all. Its not super glossy like normal lip glosses. Its a perfect blend and gives the best finish which has shine to it but not overboard with shine. Its not in anyway matte.

COLOUR SELECTION

It has a huge variety of shades to choose from i.e. 24 shades. Shades ranging from nudes,pinks,purples to deep reds. I have 8 to show you all.

Cherry Bomb- Its a true watermelon shade. Love it.

Just Have Fun- Its a blend of pink and coral. It appears more of a coral red shade on my lips as i have naturally pretty pigmented lips.

Kiss 2 Make Up- Its a nice light mauvy nude. Its likely to go with lighter skin tones better than dark.

Colour Overdose- OMG its a beautiful coral shade with hints of pink in it. It appears more of a coral shade on my lips instead of being as it is in the swatch below.

Total Diva- Its a soft reddish colour. Not true red though. Likely to compliment variety of skin tones.

Totally NOT Boring !! - Its a true cherry colour with hints of purple.

I Worked For It ! - Its a deep red shade with strong brown undertones. It will compliment every skin tone.

Live For Today- Its a soft peachy shade. It will look great on lighter and medium skin tones.

PROS

- Highly affordable
- Easily available
- Great variety to choose from
- Perfect satin lipsticks
- Very hydrating
- Non-sticky
- Not at all thick on lips
- Not at all drying on lips

CONS

- Not available locally
- Lasting power is less

FINAL VERDICT- 

In my humble opinion these are great lipsticks for daily wear which are highly affordable. I love these and would recommend everyone out there to try it.
