REVIEW & SWATCHES- MAKEUP ACADEMY (MUA) "Single Eyeshadows"

Hello my Lovelies,
I know you girls have heard about UK's cheapest brand "MAKEUP ACADEMY (MUA)" and many of you like it too. I won't get into the details about the brand as its already a very well-known brand and the main purpose of this post is to tell you girls whether it is worth buying or not ! Keep reading to find out which single shades i am here to review and what perception i have about them! This post is a special dedication for my lovely followers on Facebook who wanted to see more reviews on eye products.

So without any further delay lets hop right into the details!!

MUA is a very affordable brand which offers quality products. You will find some products as a hit or a miss but usually it provides its customers with good affordable yet quality and performing products. I am personally a fan of MUA and love trying its new products.
MUA has these single eyeshadows in their product line which only cost $1 each. They have a variety of shades ranging from pearls, shimmers to matte. MUA has discontinued few of its shades which is a great disappointment as they were amazing. Anyway i own 3 shades which are from the pearl category.

These eyeshadows come in 2g product per eyeshadow which is great when we see its price tag. For me packaging is simple and cute. They have a transparent lid on them which closes tightly and won't open if you carry it around in your makeup bag. They do not come in any sort of box, they are simply sealed with a tape.

The shades are highly pigmented, colour pay off is great. They dont have a very buttery or soft feel to them; rather they feel more like a normal typical eyeshadow. The ones i own despite being towards the shimmery side there is hardly any fall out which is great. Blending and application is easy and effortless. They can be applied both wet and dry. Lasting power is pretty decent over a primer.

Shade 25- Its a typical magenta pink which has very minute amount of shimmer in it.
Shade 29- Its a gorgeous Khaki green with golden undertones. Catches light and looks amazing.
Shade 13- Its a bold purple with slight blue undertones making it a cooler purple.

I bought mine from HASH for RS 350/- per eyeshadow.

PROS of the Product:

- Amazing and wide range of shades to choose from.
- Easy blending and application.
- Hardly any fall-out.
- Easy to travel with.
- Amazing pigmentation.
- Affordable and very cheap.

CONS of the Product:

- Some of the matte shades have been discontinued.
- Find it too shimmering/Sparkling.
- Not available locally.

Final Thoughts...
If you have tried many high end brands so this is surely not going to attract you or satisfy you to much greater extent as this brand is totally targeting a different market. Anyhow if you are a beginner and want to build up your collection and try out different products so this is definitely your pick. These are not at all disappointing products, its just they don't have anything extraordinary in them. Don't get me wrong, they are worth trying though considering the price tag and quality. If you are an intermediary or professional you need to skip them and try out something else as they won't really take you anywhere. On contrary these are amazing option for those who love to try variety of products and at the same time be easy on their pockets.

My Rating:

3.5/5

Where else they can be purchased from ?
