Hello my Lovelies!!!
I know i am really late for this review! My apologies for it. Well without any further delay i'll directly jump right into the details.
We all look for that kind of kohl which does not budge on us ... but for one reason or another many of us fail in finding it. We all have a never ending list of brands from which we tried kohls , high ends or drugstore ; you name it and one of us will know about it and have tried it. For some odd reason we all have same experiences. When it comes to kohl, i just can't get over it like ever!! Products budge but nothing really stops me from using kohl (especially on my waterline) . One thing you need to understand is that not every product will stick by your side. Somethings will suit you and some will not. The only reason is that our skin changes all the time and the things which were our best friend become acquaintance later.
Anyway continuing with the review, i asked on my Facebook Page few days back if you like wearing coloured kohls on your waterline or not? Many never had tried any other colour except black so i thought why not introduce you to few !! There are many colours out there in the makeup world, but its also true that not every colour performs. Well i personally wear black,green,aqua and brown on my waterline. I have tried purple and blue also. Many among you will be thinking like really ? you serious ? Yes i really am. Ok blue and purple might not be for people who like to stay in their comfortable zone but you must try green,aqua and brown for sure. Trust me it does not look over dramatic or odd. It looks different but its wearable. In fact it adds a pop of colour to your eyes.
I recently purchased " MILANI LIQUID EYE LINER PENCILS" and oh boy am i impressed or what!!!! I have it in two shades (Black and Aqua) but it also comes in three more that is altogether five shades. I read its reviews and thought to give them a try and i must say my decision wasn't wrong.
Ok i tested this product for really long, and it left me speechless. I had put it on at 8:00 in the morning and didn't put it off till 6:00 in the evening. It was so hot that day and i remember how mad the sun had been that day. My face was melting like anything but my waterline was like is it hot ? It stayed all day long.
The maximum what you'll notice is that it feathers out from the ends but it wont smudge underneath or on your lower lash line. One very important thing one needs to know is that if your eyes are dry or less hydrated the kohl wont smudge but those who have watery or highly hydrated eyes it will smudge but use of good pencils will minimise it.These come in two forms: Sharpenable ones and mechanical ones. I have sharpenable one. I personally think they are more easy to work with as you have full control on its use and sharpness.
Few things you can do to avoid smudging underneath or on your lower lash line are:
1) Set the kohl with a black eyeshadow that is just press the eyeshadow on the kohl
2) Line your lower lash line with any eye pencil. I love to go with champagne or very light shades on my lower lash line
3) Take translucent powder or baby powder and just apply it under your eyes as close to your lash line as possible. This will not only stop it from smudging but will hold it for long.
PRICE: RS 1250/- . Its pricey but its worth it !!

FINAL VERDICT.....
Well if you struggle with kohls or are looking for a good one so i will recommend you trying this one out. Its no doubt a really good product but yes it is pricey. It won't be a disappointment to many but if you have highly hydrated eyes so folks it might fail on you or it might not as i personally have decently hydrated eyes so it works well for me. I will definitely recommend the aqua shade as it nice one to try out and it really performs. It stays all day long. It might vanish after sometime if its really hot but it will leave a hint of it on your waterline meaning it won't seem that you don't have kohl on your waterline. It basically performs like a stain for your waterline !!
