REVIEW & SWATCHES- Morphe Brushes 12S "Soul of Summer Palette"

Hello my Lovelies!!

Morphe Brushes, indeed a very well-known brand, is recently coming out with so many new products that its really getting hard to keep track of it. Morphe was always known for its amazing quality brushes but now its cosmetic line is even making a name in the makeup world like all the other famous brands.
 Almost all us know and are very much familiar with its famous 35O Pro Makeup Palette, that we all want to get our hands on while it keeps going out of stock again and again due to its never ending demand. Luckily i do own it and totally understand the hype surrounding it.
Meanwhile with all the hype surrounding Morphe Pro Makeup Palettes i saw Morphe 12S- Soul of Summer Palette. First i was really iffy about it whether it is good or not, shadows are chalky or soft, fallout or nah ? but most importantly is it even worth buying ? With all of these questions in mind i gave it a shot and ordered it mainly just following Morphe's reputation.
Morphe didnt let me down as far as quality is concerned. In fact i personally think Morphe eyeshadow palettes are never a bummer !!
Morphe 12S- Soul of Summer Palette is a small palette consisting of 12 square shaped eyeshadows in it with a retail price of $14.99 per palette. Its totally a pure shimmer eyeshadow palette with no mattes in it. It is clearly leaning towards neutral to warm shades and indeed is for all the warm toned lovers out there.

The shadows themselves are very pigmented and buttery soft. Fallout can be there depending on how you use them. You can always use them with a wet brush or a little bit of Mac fix plus to intensify the shade more, depending on your liking. I did notice that two to three shades did require a little bit of efforts to actually build them up and avoid patchy application. While rest were good to use.
As the shadows are quiet soft so you must be careful with your palette because it can easily break if you drop it. These eyeshadows have no scent in them so its a plus for anyone who dislikes that typical chemically scent in makeup. As far as the packaging is concerned it is a typical plastic casing which gives a cheap quality feel to it. Its not at all sturdy or anyway too expensive/high end looking. If you're someone who looks for cute/beautiful packaging so no dear you ain't finding it here.
For the lasting power i'll say it depends on your eyeshadow primer too but normally it lasts for good 5-6 hours unless your eyelids are extremely oily. If you're among those who have really oily eyelids then it might last for a little less on you yet again if your primer is good it will make it last longer than 5 hours. Rating: 2.9/5 !! (Mainly because of the similar shades in all 3 rows)

Final Verdict
This palette is not something very WOW but its a nice palette to have. If you're on a budget so its good to have but can be skipped if you have similar or same eyeshadows in your collection. This is not as expensive as other palettes in the market so its a good option to have for the free lance makeup artists or someone who has just began building her collection. If you're by no means a shimmer and warm toned eyeshadow lover so this is not your cup of tea. The biggest down side of this palette is, one it has no matte shades in it. Secondly each row has two shades which look quiet similar in fact exactly the same if not seen way too closely. Hence no value addition. Will i recommend it ? Depends, as if you already own many eyeshadow palettes, have similar shades or own any other Morphe Pro Makeup Palettes then i'll suggest skipping it. As far as the quality is concerned its a good quality eyeshadow palette with no such issues with pigmentation. One thing i can say is you won't be disappointed with the results of this palette. The only thing which concerns me is how the similar shades appear on different skin tones, as to be quiet honest this is a huge bummer for a palette.  Watch out for fallout as the shadows are so smooth that fallout is inevitable.
